July 16, 2020 - This is actually not so new anymore. The pictures are fun to see - our buildings are very nice. We also have large exercise areas for our adults - they get to run around every day. This is so good for them.
Jeff and I are getting "a bit" older. :o) So, making things easier for us, and nicer for our doggies. This new building was totally complete with new residents by December, 2016. We call it our Eastwing - since it goes out towards the east - from our Groom Shop.
Now (March 2018) - we are starting on a new place for our puppies. I love our current building, but little by little, things need to be fixed. New doggy doors - linoleum - and hey - we decided to just get a fresh start. It will go out from the north side of the Groom Shop. Everything will be pretty handy.

Stage 1: Preliminary outside work getting done.
This area will be filled with gravel - it is much better for dogs than cement. Yes, cement is easy for people to hose down, but harder on the dogs that live on it - their joints - it is cold and takes the heat out of their bodies - when laying on it in the winter. Gravel may be a bit more work for us, but we want to do the best for our sweet dogs. There will be a step down from the dog doors, and each will have an eave out over the top of their dog door - so they can go outside and not be rained on, if it is raining. Between inside and outside space - our dogs will have minimum 100 square feet - for the smaller breeds - for our Cocker Spaniels on up - there will be 156 sq. feet. Jeff is not here for me to check these figures - so don't hold me to it. :o) Anyway, lots of room, in and outside.
